Pixel and Pixel XL on October 4th
First to the already known news since our recent article on the subject. The two Smartphones The Pixel and Pixel XL are now certain to be unveiled on October 4th, 2017. Google itself confirms this with a corresponding poster in Boston. With the new leak, further details have now been confirmed. Both Pixel models are available with two storage variants, 64 and 128 GB. The top model XL built by LG will cost either $849 or $949, depending on the option. It is expected that these prices will not be directly converted into euros. The last generation was already a good bit more expensive in this country. Expect prices between €900 and just over €1000 for the two XL models. Apparently the prices are not final yet. Allegedly, Google expected the price of the iPhone 8 to be higher. In order to remain competitive, the Californians could lower the price of the Pixel 2 XL. Especially in view of the new iPhone X, which costs €64 with only 1149 GB, Google could benefit here.
New colors and certainty
In terms of color, the XL will be available in two finishes. Buyers will be able to choose between black and black and white. The cheaper and smaller Pixel 2 is built by HTC and is said to start at $649. Similar to the XL, the price will increase by $100 to $749 with double the storage. In addition, there will be a new color, Kinda Blue. Google apparently does without a dual camera like many other flagships this year. In addition, it is almost certain that the jack port will also be missing from the Pixel 2. Speculations therefore speak of the presentation of Bluetooth headphones at the pixel presentation.
