Audio and Hi-Fi - a very broad term. In this area we test both for the consumer and for the producer. We test everything from headphones to audio interfaces. Everything important is dealt with individually, from installation to sound quality. Each test series is carried out by one and the same editor in order to be able to make a 100 percent correct comparison statement. While the focus is of course on the sound, depending on the category, we also check other important aspects such as the workmanship, the installation or the drivers.
We too must first acquire knowledge in certain areas. We do not start any series of tests without first thoroughly informing ourselves about the products and their properties. Only when we have an overview of the relevant test areas do we design a kind of test setup and test all products according to the same pattern.
Especially in the area of audio, one is aware of aids such as controllers and meters when testing. These can of course be found in our studio. Because audio is more than sound. It's also about the right control and much more. Precisely defining these criteria in advance is the challenge of any good test site in this area. And we fulfill these to the fullest conscience.
