Galaxy S9 is scheduled to be released in January

Samsung Galaxy S9 news

Samsung is reportedly planning a significant one early release of the Samsung Galaxy S9. The source for this are suppliers who claim that the displays for the new flagship to be delivered in November should. Samsung is said to be trying to put pressure on Apple and the iPhone 8, which is supposed to be released this month.

Maximum focus on Apple

The releases from Samsung have been brought forward more and more in recent years. The Galaxy S7 was released on February 16th. Due to the known problems with the Note 8, the S7 was only released at the end of March this year. Rumor has it that the S9 will now be delivered in January 2018, just a month before the S7. The reason for this is said to be the release of the iPhone 8 in September. The Koreans want to deliver a competitive product as soon as possible to outperform Apple. Speculations about whether Touch ID is integrated in the display are currently doing the rounds. A design idea that Samsung allegedly already tried on the S8 and rejected due to susceptibility to errors. It is possible that Samsung would like to present this feature as one of the first manufacturers and assumes that Apple will present the function this month.

First changes are in the room

Although Samsung only recently introduced the new Galaxy Note 8, the first rumors for the new S9 are already buzzing through the net. For example, the fingerprint sensor should be moved to the back. In addition, the front of the new device should consist entirely of a screen. The idea for this is said to have come up in May 2016. The processor of the S9 is also hotly debated. Samsung is said to have the prerogative of the Snapdragon 845. Wild speculation considering that the slightly improved variant of the Snapdragon 835, the Snapdragon 836, hasn't even been used yet. Recently it was assumed that the new Pixel models from Google will access the 836 first. In addition to this, Samsung is said to be looking for a new mainboard Set a concept which can be implemented in a much more space-saving manner. This should make the battery of the S9 significantly larger. With a probability bordering on certainty, the S9 will use the Android 8.0 that has been released by then and will not be cheaper than the S8 at the start.

So far, all of this is nothing but hot air. We won't find out exactly what's in store for us until early 2018 at the earliest.
