7 ideas for your gaming setup that you can implement immediately!

1. USE ANIMATED LIVE BACKGROUNDS

One of the most important parts of your gaming setup is the background of your monitor. This is certainly nothing new for you and I'm pretty sure that you have already customized your screensaver. But check out animated live wallpapers. They bring dynamics into your setup and are a real eye-catcher.

Desktop Live Wallpaper app allows you to play animated backgrounds. You can find the app in Microsoft Store.

2. LET THE TASKBAR AUTOMATICALLY HIDE

In addition, you should hide your taskbar. Otherwise, all the icons, the time, etc... will still be on the screen and your live wallpaper just won't stand out as well. You set this option by right-clicking on the taskbar.

Then you open the taskbar settings and set the button “Automatically hide the taskbar in tablet mode” to on.

3. USE A MAXIMUM OF TWO LED COLORS

Discreet LED lighting supports each gaming room. And even if you can choose between numerous color variants thanks to RGB, you should limit your choice to a maximum of two light colors. Too many different colors can make your gaming setup look restless.

4. ARRANGE YOUR COMPONENTS LOOSELY

You should absolutely avoid that your Deco & components can be lined up directly without gaps. Then your setup will quickly look overloaded. Instead, try to arrange all the elements loosely and keep a small distance between them.

Problems can arise here, especially with smaller desks. As a result, you should also make sure that you have as few components as possible on your Desk to distribute and to make the setup as clean as possible overall.

Before you put your PC on the desk next to the monitor and speakers, consider whether the setup as a whole doesn't seem too overloaded. Here it is often the case that less is more!

5. BUILD YOUR GAMING ROOM AROUND A THEME

Sure, you can set up like anyone else with lots of LEDs, one or two monitors, one Gaming mouse etc... but then your gaming setup just gets lost in the crowd. The most impressive gaming rooms, on the other hand, always have a theme or element in the foreground that makes them unique.

Of course, it doesn't have to be a gigantic aquarium, as with the setup from Montana black. In your gaming setup, your favorite series, movie, game character etc. can also be the focus.

But it should simply have a special feature that sets it apart from the general standard. Of course you can also make it completely clean, but then it will never stand out from the crowd.

6. DECIDE ON A COLOR SCHEME

In addition to choosing a theme for your gaming setup, the choice of color is at least as important. It is best to choose two colors.

The most popular colors are black & red, black & blue, and purple & white.

But before you commit to the colors, you have to be XNUMX% satisfied with your choice. Changing the colors afterwards can be expensive. Finally, you have to buy all the components in the chosen color again.

If you are unsure, get all the elements in either white or black. You can easily combine these two colors with any other color.

7. PAY ATTENTION TO CABLE MANAGEMENT

Just tossing the cables behind the desk is quick, but really not pretty to look at. Even if you have to invest a bit of time to neatly route all the cables of your monitors, your mouse, your keyboard, etc... I can guarantee you that it is worth it.

Cable ties can help you to bring the cables together, but also the small wires that are always supplied with technical devices to secure the cables of the Power Supplies stick together They also have the advantage that you can reuse them.

If you have bundled the cables together, it is best to hide them under the table top. I recommend a cable duct for this. You can then also place the power supply units in the cable duct.

If you really don't want to spend any money, you can also use double-sided tape. Use this to glue the power supplies and cable bundles under the table top. Double-sided adhesive tape is usually available in every household.
